We are continuing to monitor the COVID-19 situation and reserve the right to update the schedule as needed to comply with the State of Rhode Island Rules & Regulations. We thank you all for your understanding. The following camp mandates will be enforced:
- Onsite registrations after the first day of camp will not be allowed.
- Campers will be assigned to stable groups of 15 including staff.
- Stable groups of 15 will be spaced 14 feet apart and will occupy the same space every day.
- Social distancing is recommended when possible but it will not be required within stable groups who may engage in close play with one another.
- There will be no switching between assigned, stable groups.
- All staff will be required to wear fabric face coverings when they can’t easily, continuously, and measurably maintain at least six feet of distance from others.
- An adequate supply of hand sanitizer, cleaning products, and anything else needed to ensure the safety of children and staff will be maintained.
- Parents/Caregivers are required to wear face coverings at pick up and drop or while visiting unless one can easily, continuously, and measurably maintain at least six feet of distance from others.
- A self-attestation screening checklist developed and approved by DHS and RIDOH, will be displayed in a visible area. A verbal screening for symptoms of COVID-19 will be conducted.
- In the event that a staff member or camper, pursuant to screening or otherwise, is identified as having acute respiratory illness symptoms or is positive for any other COVID-19 symptoms or risk factors, or is currently directed to be in quarantine or isolation, the provider shall send the staff member or camper home and take any additional necessary and appropriate action, in accordance with applicable laws and current RIDOH guidance.
- Rides home from camp by another parent/friend must be by written permission only.
- Registered campers will receive an email prior to the start of camp with further instructions.
